San Juan County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody, verify a release, post bond, obtain official booking records, or act for a detainee. Contact the responsible public office directly for those services.
Official Places to Check
Choose the source that holds the record, because a county booking, a city police report, a court case, and a state or federal custody record are not interchangeable.
San Juan County Sheriff and Adult Detention Center

- For a current or past county detainee record, use the official San Juan County Detainee Inquiry. Search by booking or subject number when available, or use a name and date range.
- For a county-held booking record or other public record, submit a written request through San Juan County JustFOIA. No dedicated Adult Detention Center photo fee was posted in the reviewed materials, so ask about applicable delivery, media, or redaction charges.
- For an immediate emergency, call 911. For non-emergency dispatch, including on-duty patrol contact, call (505) 334-6622, available 24 hours a day.
- For the later court case and disposition, use New Mexico Case Lookup. A jail disposition field is not a substitute for the court record.
- For a person in state custody or state probation or parole, use the New Mexico Corrections Department Offender Search. It does not cover ordinary county-jail custody.
- For federal prison custody, use the Federal Bureau of Prisons inmate locator. For federal immigration detention or recent release from that system, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator.
New Mexico’s Inspection of Public Records Act information and NMSA § 14-2-8 explain written-request requirements and response timing. Use the home page for a records guide, Wanted Fugitives for warrant-check context, and Arrest News for the source-aware news path.
