Why This Guide Exists
Public availability does not mean every record is in one place. San Juan County's Adult Detention Center maintains the county detainee inquiry, which can expose current and past detainee information and photos when a record displays them. The New Mexico Corrections Department maintains a different offender search for people in state custody or under state supervision, while the New Mexico courts provide case information after a booking. County records requests use the San Juan County JustFOIA portal. This guide explains those separate paths and the limits of each one rather than copying their records.
What You Can Use Here
The main pages organize official sources by the question a visitor is trying to answer.
- Guidance for using the county's official detainee inquiry, understanding a booking entry, and locating a county records request path.
- A countywide overview on the home page, including how booking records differ from court outcomes and state-custody records.
- Local starting points for Farmington Busted Mugshots, Bloomfield Busted Mugshots, and Aztec Busted Mugshots.
- Context for Wanted Fugitives and Arrest News, with official sources placed ahead of unofficial coverage.
What This Site Cannot Do
This is not a San Juan County government service and has no affiliation with the Sheriff’s Office, the Adult Detention Center, the New Mexico Corrections Department, or any court. It cannot release or transfer someone, confirm a current custody or release status, post bond, schedule a visit, retrieve an official file, or give legal advice.
- Booking charges are accusations, not proof that a person committed an offense.
- Only the responsible public office can provide or explain its own current record.
- Court disposition, sealing, expungement, and correction questions may require the court, record custodian, or a qualified attorney.
A roster result, scheduled release date, or booking photo is not final proof of guilt or a confirmed release. Every person is presumed innocent unless a court proves guilt.
Search Partners
Some pages include search tools run by independent providers. A search entered into one of those tools is handled under that provider’s practices and may lead to a paid service. If a visitor chooses a paid partner offering, this site may receive a referral fee that helps support the guide. We do not set partner prices, control their results, or represent their services.
